കർഷകനോടൊപ്പം..... ( മൂന്നാം ഭാഗം )

തീയതി - നവം.3 , 2013

                         തലേ ദിവസം മഴ വളമിടൽ തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തിയതിനാൽ, രാവിലെ 7 മണിയോടെ വളമിടലിനുള്ള തയ്യാറെടുപ്പുകൾ തുടങ്ങി.ആവശ്യമുള്ള വളങ്ങൾ പാടത്ത് എത്തിച്ചശേഷം നിശ്ചിത അളവിൽ കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ക്കുക എന്നതാണ് ആദ്യ പടി.

                  rock phosphate - 78kg, urea - 25kg, potash - 15kg എന്ന അളവിലുള്ള  മിശ്രതമാണ് ഒരു ഏക്കറിനുള്ള വളം.സഹകരണ ബാങ്ക് വളം ഡിപ്പോ വഴിയാണ് ഈ വളങ്ങൾ  വാങ്ങുന്നത്.

phosphate വേരിന്റെ വളർച്ചക്കും urea തണ്ട് ഇല എന്നിവയുടെ വളർച്ചക്കും potash ഞാറിന്റെ മൊത്തത്തിലുള്ള വളർച്ചയെ ദൃഠപ്പെടുത്തുവാനുമാണ് പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്നത്.

(പച്ചില,ചാണകം,ചാരം മുതലായവ പഴയകാലത്ത് വളമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നു . )

റോഡിനോട് ചേർന്നുള്ള വരമ്പത്ത് വലിയ പടുത വിരിച്ച്, മുകളിൽ പറഞ്ഞ അളവിൽ വളമിശ്രതം ഒരുക്കി. 

അതിനിടക്ക് പല്ലുതേച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അതുവഴിവന്ന രാജു കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം  ഉദ്ഘാടനം നടന്ന പഞ്ചായത്ത് വക വഴിവിളക്കിനെക്കുറിച്ച് വാചാലനായി.

 

തുടർന്ന് വളം ചെറിയ ബക്കറ്റിലാക്കി പാടത്ത് വിതച്ചു തുടങ്ങി.

               അതുവഴി പോകുന്ന ഒട്ടുമിക്ക നാട്ടുകാരും ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണനെ കണ്ടു കുശലം പറഞ്ഞാണ് കടന്നു പോകുന്നത്.നാട്ടുകാർക്കിടയിൽ നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന നല്ല ബന്ധങ്ങളാണ് എനിക്കവിടെ കാണുവാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞത്.

                   മതിലുകളില്ലാത്ത ഊഷ്മള ബന്ധങ്ങളാണ് ഗ്രാമങ്ങളെ നന്മയുടെ വിളനിലമാക്കുന്നത്. ഭൗതികവാദത്തിൽ ഊന്നി നില്ക്കുന്ന നഗരജീവിതത്തിനു നൽകുവാൻ കഴിയാത്തതും ഇത് തന്നെ.

                രാവിലെ 7 നു തുടങ്ങിയ വളമിടൽ 9.30 യോടെ അവസാനിച്ചു. പ്രവർത്തിദിവസമായതിനാൽ അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ കാര്യാലയത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നതിനുള്ള ധ്രിതിയിലായിരുന്നു.

Feature : Dhoom 3 - hame JOKER baneyega kya ?

When the perfectionist performs mind-blowing big setup action scenes accompanied by his trade mark shayari’s, viewers mind is getting filled with waves of expectations.

Yes! I am talking about the trailer of  the next big anticipation, “Aamir khan fame - Dhoom 3”.

But still one question remains in my mind ; why they are considering us in the same level, when the Indian viewers where not familiar with foreign movies?

Why i had this question is, the trailer is showing too much resemblance with two Hollywood hits from the director Christopher nolan –  

“The prestige” and “The dark knight”.

Aamir khan’s character is a ditto of Heath ledger’s masterpiece - The joker, even in dialogue he is mentioning it.

“mascara,majakiya,vidhushak,joker,clown yeh sab hamara naam hain...leikin clown banna serious kaam hain...kyunki maskari

Ka khel hota hain, jisme audience ko lagta hain ki jeet unki ho rahi hain...leikin jeet-te hum hain...hamesha” which tells us the whole concept clearly.

The magic background of the story reminds me about "The prestige".

 One can expect all these run-off-the mill stuffs from the team chopra.

But still the man gives us hope, whom rarely disappointed us for the last 25 years.

 

 

ഇന്നത്തെ ചിന്ത - വേലി തന്നെ വിളവു തിന്നുമ്പോൾ !

കണ്ണാടിയില്ലാത്ത ഇരുചക്രവാഹനം ഓടിച്ചാൽ ഗതാഗതനിയമം അനുസരിച്ച് ( Rule 161 MMVR-177 M.V. ACT) നൂറ് രൂപയാണ് പിഴ. ജനങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ പോലീസുകാർ ഈ നിയമം കർശനമായി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നുമുണ്ട്.

എന്നാൽ പോലീസ് വാഹനത്തിന് കണ്ണാടിയില്ലെങ്കിലോ ?

നവം 11 ന്  കോട്ടയത്ത്‌ നികുതിവകുപ്പിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ  വഴിയോര പരസ്യ- ബോർഡുകൾ നീക്കം ചെയ്യ്ത സ്ഥലത്ത് ഇന്നു കണ്ടത് ജനസമ്പർക്ക പരിപാടിയുടെ പരസ്യം.

 നികുതി വകുപ്പുദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും പോലീസുകാരും ഒരു ദിവസം മുഴുവനും കോട്ടയം നഗരം ചുറ്റി തിരിഞ്ഞു നടന്ന് എല്ലാ പരസ്യ ബോർഡുകളും നീക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. ഇതേ ബ്ലോഗിൽ ആ "സംഭവം" വാർത്തയായി കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യ്തിരുന്നു.

Cinema Review - Akira kurasowa’s Rashomon

                  What we taught as truth, may not be the truth – that is the main concept of  Akira kurasowa’s Rashomon.

The movie will ask u the question,” how much truthful we are to our self ? “, leaving the audience to decide the answer.

       A priest and a woodcutter is recounting a story that disturbed them, the murder case of a samurai to a commoner.

The case became mysterious when the 3 witnesses narrated the story differently during the trial.

A bandit named Tajomaru, explains how tactically he defeated the samurai and seduced his wife.

He says that he made a big foolishness by not taking the expensive dagger, which was found in the dead body.

Second story was that of the samurai’s wife. She told that tajomaru raped her in front of her husband and afterwards the cold expression of her husband made her faint.

When she waked up, she saw the daggered deadbody of him.

Third version came from the dead samurai itself, told by the samurai’s spirit through a

After raping the lady, tajomaru requested her to come with him. Then she asked the bandit to kill her husband.

The bandit got shocked by hearing this and instead he freed the samurai and given him the option to kill her.

The lady fled and the bandit ran behind her, while he stabbed himself to death. Later the dagger was removed by someone, he adds.

Filled with agony, the woodcutter reveals the commoner about what actually happened.

The lady made both of them fight and in the end tajomaru killed the samurai. The lady fled in horror.

The woodcutters excuse was he doesn’t want to involve in the case and that’s why he hide the truth.

In the end it is clear that the dagger was taken by the woodcutter.

All these stories will make us believe it by its own mannerisms.

When the bandit emphasizes on his personal motivations and morals, the samurai’s wife is showing her helplessness and the samurai’s spirit is expressing the feel of betrayal.

The  guilty feeling of woodcutter will make us believe his story too.

Here all the witnesses are facing the camera during trial, which symbolically consider the audience as the judge.

Heavy rain hits the rashomon when the movie starts and the rain stops only at the end, symbolizing the conflict inside the woodcutters mind.

The priest is worried about the disasters happening across the place, while the common man is used to all  these issues.

When the story of the crime disturbs others, the commoner is free from all sorts of feelings.

He is frequently mentioning about human nature like “it’s human to lie”,“ all human beings are selfish, otherwise they can’t survive” etc.

The story ends with the priests hope in humanity.

Some of the personal excellence of the movie are Toshiro Mifune’s acting as Tajomaru and  Kazuo Miyagawa’s tracking shots.

        ഏതാണ്ട് 8 മണിയോടുകൂടി ഞങ്ങൾ കൃഷിയിടത്ത് എത്തി. പാടത്തിന്റെ ഒരു ഭാഗത്ത്‌ ഏതാണ്ട് നാല്പതു സെന്ററിൽ ( 4 പറ ) നാടൻ ഇനമായ മുണ്ടകൻ തലയുയർത്തി നില്കുന്നതും കാണാം.4 മാസത്തോളം പിന്നിട്ട മുണ്ടകൻ, കതിർ രൂപപ്പെടുന്ന അവസ്ഥയിലെത്തി നില്ക്കുന്നു.ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണന്റെ പുതിയ കൃഷിക്ക്  എല്ലാ അഭിവാദ്യങ്ങളും നേർന്നുകൊണ്ട് അവർ കാറ്റത്ത്‌ പാറിപറന്നു.

   

          




         അതിനോടടുത്തുള്ള  ഒരേക്കറോളം ( 9 പറ ) വരുന്ന നിലത്തിലാണ് പുതിയ കൃഷി തുടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. IR -5 ഇനത്തിൽ പെട്ട വിത്തുകളാണിവിടെ വിതച്ചിരികുന്നത്. 4 ഇഞ്ച്‌ പൊക്കം വരുന്ന ഞാറ്റടികൾ  വളർന്നു നിൽക്കുന്നത് കാണാം.നിലത്തിൽ 2 ഇഞ്ചോളം പൊക്കത്തിൽ വെള്ളം നിറയ്ക്കാനായി നിലവിൽ പാത്തി തുറന്നു വെച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്.

        തൂമ്പകൊണ്ട് കിളച്ചു ചേറിളക്കിവരമ്പുകളുടെ
കേടുപോക്കുകയാണ് പ്രധാന പണി.

അതിനിടെ  പാടത്തിന്റെ ഏതാണ്ട് 1 പറയോളം ഭാഗത്ത് വിത്ത് നശിച്ചതായി കണ്ടു.അതിനോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ എലികളുടെ നിരവധി കാല്പ്പാടുകളും അങ്ങിങ്ങായി കാണുവാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞു. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ വെച്ച എലിവിഷം കാര്യമായ ഫലങ്ങളൊന്നും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല എന്ന് ചുരുക്കം. ചത്ത എലികളെ പരിസരങ്ങളിലൊന്നും കണ്ടില്ല.ഒരു പക്ഷേ "എലിവിളയാട്ടം" ഉണ്ടായതായിവേണം കരുതാൻ.

    നെൽ കൃഷിയുടെ ആദ്യത്തെ 10 ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ പാടത്ത് എലികളുടെ വിഹാരം വലിയതോതിൽ ഉണ്ടാവും.വിത്തിനോടൊപ്പമുള്ള അരിയുടെ അംശമാണ് എലികളെ ആകർഷിക്കുന്നത്.സാധാരണ ഭക്ഷണ സാധനങ്ങളിൽ എലിവിഷം നിറച്ചു പാടത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റുപാടും വെച്ചാണ് അവയെ കൊല്ലുന്നത്.എലികളെ കൊല്ലുന്നതിലുണ്ടാകുന്ന പാളിച്ചകൾ അവയുടെ കൂട്ടമായ ആക്രമണത്തിൽ കലാശിക്കുന്നു, അതിനെ "എലിവിളയാട്ടം" എന്നു നാട്ടുകാർക്കിടയിൽ പറയപ്പെടുന്നു.

      പണിക്കിടയിലുള്ള വിശ്രമവേളകൾ അടുത്ത നിലങ്ങളിലെ കൃഷിക്കാരുമായുള്ള  ചർച്ചകളിലൂടെയാണ്‌ കടന്നു പോകുന്നത്.തന്റെ നിലത്ത് 32 ഇടങ്ങഴി വിത്ത് വിതച്ചിടത്ത്  28 ഇടങ്ങഴി ഞാറ്റടിയെ കിട്ടിയുള്ളൂ എന്ന് ടോമി പരിഭവപെട്ടപ്പോൾ തന്റെ നിലത്തു കൂടുതൽ വെള്ളം കെട്ടികിടക്കുകയും അത് ഇറക്കി വിടാൻ പാകത്തിലുള്ള കനാലോ മറ്റു സൗകര്യങ്ങളൊ ഒരുക്കുന്നതിലുള്ള പഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ കാര്യക്ഷമതയില്ലായ്മ്മയിൽ പ്രതിഷേധിക്കുകയാണ് ജോർജ് ചെയ്യ്തത്.കൊച്ചു വർത്തമാനങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷം കരിക്കുവെള്ളവും
പൈനാപ്പിൾ കഷ്ണങ്ങളും കഴിച്ചു ക്ഷീണമകറ്റി വീണ്ടും കത്തിനിൽക്കുന്ന സൂര്യന്റെ ചുവട്ടിലേക്ക്‌ഞങ്ങളിറങ്ങി.

     പാടത്തിന്റെ ചില ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ ഞാറ്റടിയോട് ചേർന്ന് എണ്ണപാട പോലെ എന്തോ ഒന്ന് നിലത്ത് കാണുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. നിലം ഉഴുതുമറിച്ചത്തിനുശേഷം അഴുകുമ്പോൾ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന സൽഫ്യ്റ്റ്,ഓക്സൈഡി ന്റെയുമൊക്കെ അംശ- മാണിത്‌. ഇത് നെല്ലിന്റെ വളർച്ചയെ പ്രതികൂലമായി ബാധിക്കും.ഇതു തടയാൻ കുമ്മായമാണ് പണ്ടുകാലത്ത് ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നത്.എന്നാൽ കുമ്മായമിടൽ തുടർന്നുള്ള 15 ദിവസത്തെ വളപ്രയോഗം തടസപ്പെടുത്തും.പിന്നീടു natural rock phosphate വളത്തിനോട് കൂട്ടിചേർക്കുക വഴി ഈയൊരു പ്രശ്നം ഒഴിവായി.

വരമ്പുകൾ ശരിയാക്കി കഴിഞ്ഞ് ഉച്ചഭക്ഷണത്തിനായി തിരിച്ചു.അതിനു ശേഷം വളം വിതറുക എന്നതാണ് പദ്ധതി. എന്നാൽ പെട്ടന്ന് കാലാവസ്ഥ മാറി. തുലാവർഷത്തിലെ ഇടിയുടെയും മിന്നലിന്റെയും അകമ്പടിയോടുകൂടിയ  മഴ.വൈകുന്നേരം വരെ കാത്തിരുന്നെങ്കിലും  ഫലമുണ്ടായില്ല.

അതിനിടക്ക് കോട്ടയത്ത്‌ നിന്നും എന്റെ ചില സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾ വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു അവിടെ "ആലിപ്പഴം"(hailstorm)വീണു എന്ന്.അതിന് സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കാൻ പറ്റാതെപോയത്  വലിയ ഒരു നഷ്ടമായി
എനിക്ക് തോന്നി.
